Some Stories/Legends

Four Hawaiian legends were analyzed for this project, Namely, Lāʻieikawai, Kahalaopuna, Keaomelemele, and ʻAukelenuiaikū. The context under which every rainbow type occurred was noted for each legend.  The table below shows the context and the combined number of occurrences for each legend.  Click on the thumbnail of each of the legends for additional explanation.
