Some extraordinary rainbows

There are numerous examples of rainbows appearing at times that run counter to western scientific understanding. This also includes higher order rainbows that according to western science are impossible to be seen in nature. The specific examples are detailed on the Hawaiian side of this website and include the following:

1. Rainbows that appear with no rain, mist, or other atmospheric moisture present.

2. Rainbows that appear directly over a residence at the conclusion of a prayer.

3. Multiple rainbows appearing at the same time, example of 7 rainbows. Other examples show up to 15 rainbows appearing simultaneously.

These are wonderful examples of the difference in perspectives between Hawaiian thinking and western science.
